Unfinished
Sitting here in my chair, writing for me for you...ahh...it feels so good...thank God...I'm alive and breathing--- libating on Lipton, inhaling the freshness of the sea off the slight breeze through my window panes...
Why is it that the older we get the more people we know die...when I was younger...death did not become me as often as it is now...I find myself in a perpetual state of readiness for it...everytime the phone rings I say a "Hail Mary"...
Yesterday...in my out and about...I saw a man...his age not so easily recognizable as he was unkempt...and in need of personal grooming and attention...now my background is in fashion and scouting beauty... so hence my fashion senses were stimulated as I tried mentally to do a mental makeover...the face features of this man under all that unruly hair was model angular...and his nose was straight...so I knew...this man is good looking... if only....I'm considering my next project you can tell...
I've been encouraged by and thanks to a post I read from blogger www.savvy101.blogspot.com to eat right and exercise...so I figure I'll get my lazy butt up...not really lazy but have given myself so much reasons why I can't....wrong--- right...there's no such word as can't...to not exercise regularly or go to the gym...so...starting this week...I'll get my exercise bug on for eight weeks...to see if any improvement can be done with this old body...
Okay...I leave with this good day with a poem ...titled "Unfinished"
I trod these roads
unknown and unsure
in search of life
not destiny--for destiny is a surety
and life is to be lived
I awake each day
to the muses of life
unravelling experiences
good, bad and ugly
I want love
but my want is not
reflective of my need
and my need seems to be
transparent and not ambiguous
as my feelings..
